After moving from Center Stage for one show, Bangkok Fight Night returns to the venue where it belongs. And with new fire power as Khunpon of Bangkok Boxing has now opened a new midtown gym only a couple miles from Center Stage.

Bangkok Fight Night’s first six shows have all been a terrific mix of top notch MMA and Muay Thai fights and Saturday, Sept 21 at Center Stage looks to be no different.

Three pro bouts to definitely keep your eyes peeled for are John Cofer of The HardCore Gym returning to the ring after a loss to face the very dangerous Joey Carroll out of North Carolina. Cofer, one that doesn’t take easy fights is definitely not taking one against the hard hitting Carroll.

Kevin Brooks vs Clint Hester in a muay thai fight should be very entertaining as both fighters have terrific hand and foot action with backgrounds in boxing, muay thai and MMA.

Then the main event features a rematch of Warren Thompson and Dave Vitkay. Only a couple months ago Vitkay spoiled Warren Thompson’s undefeated career. Now Vitkay will have to prove it wasn’t a fluke by doing it again. Or Thompson will even the score at 1-1. Both fighters will be in studio as guests this Wednesday night on Counter Punch on 790 The Zone at 7 pm to discuss the rematch!
