SONNY SOUTH VS JOHNNY BUCK
Sonny South (X3 Sports and In the Ring Sports) and Johnny Buck (Team Superior of North Carolina) fought over a year ago at Wild Bill’s with Buck taking the win home. But it wasn’t without some controversy as according to Sonny, Buck landed a few punches to the back of the head and Sonny went into the fight with a sickness.
Then only months ago, they were both under contract to rematch in North Carolina, but a broken hand prevented Sonny from taking the fight. Now the two heated rivals are scheduled to finally rematch on Saturday, Sept 11 at Wild Bill’s Fight Night.
To say the two fighters dislike each other would be to put it mildly. A trip to the facebook account of either shows facebook posts that show the disdain each fighter has for the other.

Please, does anyone speak English? Just because you are from the south doesn’t mean you should talk like it! JBuck is going to take care of business — just like he did before. OH! And by the way, any REAL fighter owns his losses and learns from it. They don’t act like Sallies and blame it on a menstrual cycle!

So you’re telling me there is NEVER anytime a fighter can have a circumstance (Injury/illness) that causes them to lose when they normally wouldn’t??? Clearly you must be just a fan given by your screen name and don’t actually Train/Fight. I had a low grade Fever and a minor cough in a low level ameature KBoxing fight I had, and my endurance was 1/5th of what it normally was and I was gassed by the end of round 1. Let alone having a full blown Swine Flu! Most pro fighters woulda pulled out, Sonny maned up and fought anyways. He’s also said he lost, no two ways around it, but stating facts like having a 103 degree fever isn’t making excuses.
Sonny’s gonna handle his business Saturday and all the talk will be laid to rest. And lastly, since Joe Buck is so damn tough, why doesn’t he stand toe to toe and Bang with Sonny??? Why be so afraid to stand and fight and so quick to shoot for the takedown???

Dan Henderson, Fedor, etc. Hendo could barely move his head in his las fight. no excuses. Fedor got caught. no excuses. IVE lost 6 Fights. No excuses (mad as f*** about the DQ cause rings are terrible but not an excuse). Ive never lost a fight the same way twice…
