On the GA Athletic Commission site, Brett and the Fight Party is scheduled to be at Cowboy’s again on August 14th, is this accurate?
Yes Sherri, at the Athletic Commission meeting on Tuesday, Brett’s match permit for Aug 14 at Cowboys was accepted.
Why does this promoter always put on shows on or near the same time other shows are going on? It sucks for a fan to have to pick and choose what event to go too!!

It’s hard not to put on shows close to other promotions, because everyone is a promoter now. 4yrs ago it was basically us, Oblas, and Brett (and James Corbett down south, and Ken Coffey in Dalton). Now there are so many promotions that it’s hard to get dates that arent within a week or two of another event. MMA in GA has become a bit saturated at the moment, much like the fight school market in Atlanta.
