COMBAT SPORTS EXPO
SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 2010
We are looking for YOUR input!
Who should we bring in to do a two hour seminar at the Combat Sports EXPO in Atlanta on Saturday, April 3? Who do you want to learn from? Who do you think will be the best teacher?
Select from Jens Pulver, Joe Lauzon or Jeremy Horn!

horn all the way.
LAUZON!!! HE’s the man, is heading to Hilo this week to train with BJ Penn. And he knocked Pulver out….C’mon man, LAUZON all the way!!!!
Joe Lauzon hands down. Pulver and Horn are from MMA before it was actually MMA. That never evolved which is why they get crushed everytime they enter the cage now.
lol jeremy horn has fought more mma fights than any human. hes trained a whos who of mma, hes a teacher and trainer. Joe’s a good kid dont get me wrong. jeremy just has an amzeing wealth of knowledge, hes alegedn in the sport, joe knows alot but has a long way to go to be a jeremy horn.
Lauzon is such a smart fighter though. training with BJ Penn only adds to his potential. The kid can be a future champ. Would love to have him here
This is almost comical. Lauzon??? Seriously??? Who cares how good someone is. They aren’t giving me their talent. I want someone that can teach me something; someone that has been in the game for a long time and picked up a lot of tricks on the way. You can look at Horn and tell he’s not a superior athlete but, I’m positive he knows a hell of a lot more about fighting then Lauzon. I’m surprised this is even an arguement.
Then wouldn’t Jens be a better fit than Horn? He’s been around just as long as Horn and is still a noteworthy top fighter.
I dont think its fair to say Lauzon teaching this expo is comical and quite frankly, I think its disrespectful for someone to hide behind a computer and say stuff like this. Sure Lauzon is good, he holds wins over former champs Jens Pulver and Mike Thomas Brown. On that note, ive been in the sport training for 4 years now and i would jump at the opportunity to have someone like Lauzon teach this expo. My vote is for Joe Lauzon.
P.S- Lauzon trained extensively with BJ Penn for a handful of his fights (and is in Hilo, Hawaii right now training with Penn) You think he might have picked up a few tricks from one of the greatest fighters to grace the sport of MMA along the way? I think he would have alot to share and hope he gets offered to do this
pulver is a one trick pony to say the least, joe is good but comon hes just starting out, i dont care if hes trained some with bj, hes not bj…horn can teach, hes been there and done it before joe knew what it was.
TUF noobs!
Any of these guys would be good. But Jeremy Horn is a LEGEND. Pulver is a close second, and Lauzon is in his prime as a great fighter, his claim to fame is he knocked out an out of Prime Jens. Not to discredit his skill and athleticism but that is a fact.
Matching skill for skill, 100% Jeremy Horn takes the cake end of story. Anyone can go train with BJ, does that mean I want to learn from BJ’s student?? Kind of a silly argument. Many people go to HORN to learn. I don’t want the student, I want the teacher. Bring on the Horn.
What else is going on at this thing…?
You’re right, all three are good choices. I’d have to vote for Joe Lauzon though. Everything I’ve read & heard about the kid says “smart”. Im a young fighter myself, so i think i would relate best to Lauzon’s teaching. Thats my opinion on the matter
Joe Lauzon is one of my favorite fighters, This would be awesome
I’d love to work with any of them but i think either pulver or Horn would be really cool to have since they’ve been in the game forever.
be cool to have lauzon for this. extremely talented fighter
LAUZON
To make things easier for everyone, I am withdrawing. I wanted to be part of the expo, but when the date changed to April 3rd, I had prior arrangements. Thanks to everyone that voted for me.
I have gone to a Jeremy Horn seminar myself and it was awesome. He does a great job explaining things and runs a fun seminar. I am sure Jens would be a great seminar too.
Hopefully I will have another opportunity to come out and do a seminar at another time.
Pure class Joe. Hopefully we’ll get you down here some other time. Take care
Just voted for Pulver. Former champion and a legend!
