Evander Holyfield to be honored at The Big Rock Out 3
Eleven Standing Still to perform live at the Official After Party at the Hard Rock Café

ATLANTA, GA. The Big Rock Out professional boxing series (owned and operated by Sports Fan Properties and in partnership with the Dickey Media Group), showcases some of the best professional boxers from Georgia and around the Southeast. The Big Rock Out 3 will be held on Friday, August 27th, 2010 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza. This event will feature up to 10 bouts with of some of the best talent in professional boxing, including former WBC Lightweight Champion Zahir “King” Raheem (30-3) and local favorite Paul “The Truth” Delgado (23-9-1). 
The Big Rock Out 3 – Ring of Honor Recipient: Evander Holyfield
The Big Rock Out started the Ring of Honor tradition as a way of recognizing and honoring individuals for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the sport of boxing and their community. At the inaugural event, the late Vernon “The Viper” Forrest was honored and remembered. The Big Rock Out is pleased to announce that Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield will be added to The Big Rock Out – Ring of Honor on August 27, 2010 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza. Some of Evander’s Olympic teammates, friends and family will be invited to participate in this special tribute.

Immediately after the boxing, all guests will be invited to attend a special live performance by Eleven Standing Still at the Hard Rock Café across the street from the Westin Peachtree Plaza located at 215 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. The event will be hosted at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in the Peachtree Ballroom located at 210 Peachtree Street NW Atlanta, GA. Designed by John Portman in 1976, The Westin Peachtree Plaza is a 73-story tower, topped by the tri-level, revolving Sun Dial Restaurant Bar & View. At 723 feet, The Westin Peachtree Plaza was Atlanta’s tallest building until 1987, when it was surpassed by One Atlantic Center. Today, the Westin Peachtree Plaza remains the tallest hotel in the Western Hemisphere.
