Erica Taylor Injured In Motorcycle Accident

Erica Taylor recently had the biggest fight of her career and won it – the vacant ISKA 115 lb Georgia Title at the last Wild Bill’s Fight Night against Crystal Parrish.

Now she’s at the Macon Trauma Center fighting for her life after a motorcycle accident, according to her trainer David Barber.

While we don’t know too much here at GeorgiaFighters, we wanted to wish her a speedy recovery and pass on what we do know.

Today, Taylor was involved in a motorcycle crash and broke her pelvis bone in three places.

At 2:15 today (Dec 12) Barber texted us to tell us she was in five hours of surgery followed by 1.5 hours of recovery.

Taylor was training to fight again on January 19 at Wild Bill’s.

Erica Taylor has fought all of Atlanta’s toughest females including Mary Matia, Rachel Seltzer, Tecia Torres and most recently North Carolina’s Crystal Parrish. She suffered a broken jaw in her fight with Tecia Torres last year and won the ISKA Georgia title in her first fight back after the injury. No other Georgia female fighter has gone up and down in weight to fight every female in Georgia as she has.
