Tonight, Counter Punch on 790 The Zone, will discuss the recent and unfortunate death of Atlanta kickboxer Adrienne Simmons.

Our guests for the show will be Eric Haycraft and Don Geary.

Eric Haycraft is the trainer for Lindsay Scheer. He was at the event and working Scheer’s corner when the incident occurred. He has been a top notch trainer for Scheer, Brent Weedman and many others in Kentucky.

Don Geary is a member of the Georgia Athletic & Entertainment Commission (GAEC) and an attorney. After a recent MMA death in South Carolina, the GAEC took quick and strict standards to make MMA more safe in Georgia by requiring all pro fighters must first have at least 5 amateur bouts before turning pro. Georgia has for many years been a leader in fighter safety and Geary will help bring light to some of those rules and laws that help keep Georgia fighters as safe as possible.
