2011 Combat Sports EXPO
Saturday, April 23
at Wild Bill’s
The Combat Sports EXPO that took place last year at the Renaissance Waverly will return for its second year, but with a new venue, more events and with each part of the show promoted better than last year.
The EXPO will be held on Saturday, April 23 at Wild Bill’s in Gwinnett.
“One of the aspects of the EXPO that we are most looking forward to is the grappling tournament; this year organized and presented by COPA America,” said EXPO organizers David Oblas and Jose Santiago. “After last year’s EXPO we knew we had a great product, but had to finetune a few things. Bringing in COPA to handle the grappling aspect of the EXPO is going to make that top notch. And with all the other activities that we have planned for this day, the fans are going to love it. Over the next few weeks we’ll be announcing the other awesome things set for this EXPO!”
For some time now COPA has been the premier grappling tournament in Florida and has expanded their reach into Georgia in the past year or two. Most of their events are held in Jonesboro with this event in Duluth.
COPA currently has at least three more events scheduled in Florida for this year with a whopping five events scheduled in Georgia.
The grappling tournament at the EXPO is priced extremely fair with kids priced at $45 in advance ($55 day of) and adults for $55 in advance ($65 day of).

This event is expected to attract more than 5,000 combined fans for all aspects of the show. We will also be bringing in several notable celebrities and those will be announced shortly.
